Ruinous

RUINOUS is an idle clicker about one very large problem.

The quarantine dome over Maple Hollow cracked at 3:14 a.m. Now she's loose, and every stomp pays in Carnage. Her foot follows your mouse: lower it to squash the tiny people pouring out of the buildings, push down to press harder, and flick it down fast to smash houses, cruisers and cathedrals. Grow a cult that worships her from a safe distance, and fight off the police and then the army when they finally show up.

  * A weighty, mouse-driven foot: crush force = height + push + flick, and

    anything too tough holds the foot up, squashes and tumbles

  * Crowds of tiny people are your main income; they flee, cower and squish

  * Grind the planted foot to fill the Pressure meter and unleash a QUAKE

  * Police respond with sirens in the early chapters; the military comes later

  * 6 chapters plus a postgame, 43 upgrades that each go to level 100

    (stat upgrades double at Lv 25/50/75/100), 5 Elemental actives (keys 1-5)

  * A full campaign takes about 20 minutes

  * A final boss, then Ascension: reset for Infamy and permanent upgrades,

    and pick a Keepsake, one skill that starts every future run at Lv 1.

    Keepsakes stack, so every run gets faster

  * Offline progress, autosave, options menu (fullscreen, audio, screen shake)

Controls: move the mouse to steer the foot (up/down too) - push below it to press

- flick down to stomp - click military units - 1-5 Elemental abilities

- Esc options - F11 fullscreen

This is a v0.6 proof of concept. Art is AI-generated placeholder pixel art (SpriteCook), sounds are placeholders, and balance is still being tuned.
